Who we are

Qalat is a brand of Optimum LLC. Optimum LLC builds and operates the Qalat website (qalat.app) and the apps listed on it. In this policy, “we” means Optimum LLC.

What this policy covers

This policy covers the Qalat website only. Each app has its own privacy policy, which explains what that app stores, why, and for how long. If you use an app, its policy is the one that applies to your data there.

What this website collects

  • Early-access sign-ups. If you leave your email address to hear about new apps, we send it to our team inbox using Resend, our email provider. We use it only to tell you when an app is ready to try.
  • Your theme choice. If you switch between light and dark mode, your browser remembers it in local storage. It never leaves your device.
  • Basic server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, records standard request details such as IP address and browser type to run and protect the site.

This website has no advertising, no analytics and no tracking cookies. We don't sell or rent personal information.

Children

This website isn't meant for children to sign up on, and the early-access form is for adults. Zanta, our children's story app, has its own children's privacy notice, linked above, which explains how it handles information that parents enter about a child.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, or to delete your email address, at any time. Write to hello@qalat.app.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be noted on the home page.
